You may find the following advice useful.

• Always carry your driving licence and rental documents with you.
• You may turn right on a red traffic signal after coming to a stop unless you are indicated otherwise.
• On many express routes you will encounter toll booths. Generally the correct change is required (if an automatic booth) so keep some small change handy.
• If driving in the rain, headlights and windscreen wipers MUST be used.
• If, in the unfortunate event of an accident - inform the police immediately together with the hire company.
• Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
• On dual-carriageways, other drivers may pass you on either side - check carefully before changing lanes.
